The upper left wing of the New Regency-Gothic style Coach House has been converted to provide a spacious, elegant two-bedroom apartment with accommodation all on one level. Entry is via a central staircase built with oak from the Estate’s trees. Light is a dominant feature enhanced by the building’s internal light-tunnel and the large, panoramic window above the staircase. High ceilings add to the feeling of space.

Named after a 17th Century son of Webbery who left to make his fortune in the American colonies, this apartment’s very comfortable sitting room is furnished with antiques. Double aspect windows give wonderful views out across a walled garden towards parkland and Exmoor in the distance. French doors lead outside to a large roof terrace.

The double bedroom with has large antique brass bed and an ensuite bathroom with shower- mixer. The twin bedroom has two antique colonial-style beds and an adjoining shower room.
