About Us
Set high in the Hills above the Taw/ Torridge estuaries and steeped in history, the Webbery Manor Estate is a natural haven of rural peace, harmony, and tranquillity, yet lies within easy striking distance of the North Devon market towns of Bideford and Barnstaple. To pass through our gates is to step into another world, where grazing sheep compete for space with deer, hare, tawny and barn owls, buzzards, sparrowhawks and other abundant wildlife.
In summer, look out to see the green flash optical phenomenon from our grounds as the sun sinks below the horizon, seemingly into the ocean
Being on the edge of the Exmoor Dark Sky Area, our clear night skies are a stargazer’s heaven – literally!
In this beautiful, romantic setting, you can rent one or more of 8 properties, all finished and equipped to a very high standard, furnished with period antiques and providing free access to superfast fibre broadband.
The Estate’s 40 acres of park, woodland and gardens contain many ancient, listed trees some of which date back to the time of the Armada.
Other areas have been allowed to revert to their natural state, to create a rainforest-like canopy of laurel, rhododendron, monkey-puzzle and many other tree varieties for you to explore.
Two walled kitchen gardens produce a variety of seasonal fruit, vegetables, herbs and flowers all available on a complimentary basis for consumption during your stay.
Guests may also use our tennis court, subject to availability.
